Founder Dan Murphy is a native of Rockford, raised with a strong ethic of personal responsibility and individual determinism; he learned early the value of hard work and of doing things both well and efficiently. A proud alum of Boylan HS and a Maxima Cum Laude graduate of Loras College with BA in ccounting/Finance and Psychology (dual major), his professional focus has always been one of balancing the technical reality of numbers in business with the wants and needs of the people those numbers represent. With 30+ years of hands-on experience in positions of financial leadership for small and mid-size businesses (including family owned firms) in both manufacturing and service sectors, Dan has become adept and passionate at helping business owners gain and maintain financial understanding and financial control of their businesses.
